HTC Diamond Sim Unlock/Security unlock

This software can simunlock both your phone, so you can use every provider, and it can Security unlock your phone, so you can use whatever radio you want.

IMPORTANT:
This software might brick your diamond! Don’t say I didnt warn you! If you are new to flashing roms etc. the don’t do this, as it can brick your diamond.
STEP 1 ( HARD SPL )
- In short, this resets the CID. This makes your phone able to run firmware installs from other that your phone provider, which is normally locked.
- Just run “diamond-sspl.bat”. When the screen on your phone goes black and the bat file is done, open the folder “HardSPL-1.24″ and run “DiamondCustomRUU.exe”
STEP 2 (Radio)
- This flashes a new radio, witch is able to simunlock.
- Run: “DiamonCustomRUU.exe”
STEP 3 ( RUN UNLOCKER )
- Copy “DiamUnlock.exe” to your device.
- As and joke from the developer this is really hard to execute. You have about 1/10 of a second to press the center of your joystick (this ticks the “remove simlock” box) And almost instantanely press, with your stylu,s on the box at the bottom. I mean it says “COMMIT” but I cant honnestly remember. 
I have used this and it works perfectly. But it took about 15 tries to get the last step to work.
UPDATE:
New procedure:
Press the “up” bottom 2 times, and press the screen with the stylus fast right after the program loads. Then the program dosn’t shutdown. I your fast enough you can do it. But you only have like 1/10 of a second to do it.

It’s very usful.
One point to be added is to ensure the device with radio 1.00.25.5 (other radio will not work) before proceeding step 2.

Terence is right. I struglled a lot before I knew the radio 1.00.25.05 is required.
After flashing that radio, it was quick

Hi guys, i’d firstly like to say this is the easiest guide to debranding a htc diamond i have come across on the web. So thanks goes to the author for such a user friendly guide.
I’m unfortunately having trouble unbranding the darned phone though. My problem is with the first step, the “diamond-sspl.bat” file (that can’t be opened by my device…). Some advice please?.
note: I have not seen a black screen on my mobile when using this guide thus far. ["When the screen on your phone goes black and the bat file is done"]..
The process of screen going black, and the bat file being crteated, just doesn’t happen on my phone.

Here is easier way using patched EXE
(SIM, Security and change CID!)
here is leaked DIAMOND unlocker “KOKO_TARGET”, including patch for last step, to prevent “fast close” of program, so works on 1st try.

in case you got a strange RADIO ROM who stops flashing on 95% or other problems, try flashing other ROMs or try RADIO downgrader before flashing, you can find it also in this posting.

Many thanks. Its work only with HardSPL,ROM,RADIO from rar archive. I flash before separate same HardSPL,RADIO and ROM but not working.

try and you can do it easily no need to change rom version.

Hi, i can’t do the 3rd step, because when I open the file, there’s a message: “You don’t appear to have flashed the radio, did something go wrong with step 2?”. But there aren’t problem with the radio!!! how can i solve? thank you!!!

i have entered the wrong code 8 times now tell me how to unlock my HTC Diamond?
please help me to unlock my HTC diamond which is not accepting any unlock code and its show that you have entered 8 times wrong code so please wait till time out. and its not conecting with PC and not working with active SYNC 4.5. pc does not detect it. screen appears on the mobile for contection for active sync but it disappear after 2 or 3 sec. and there is nothing wrong with the data cable because i have check it on the other mobile and it works fine.please help me for the solution for this mobile.

worked fine! (only with radio v1.00.25.05) now i have radio 1.20 OLINEX. is it now possible to go back to my old Radio v1.09.25.23? because this one just worked fine with battery performance.

1 day old TP2 and obtaining some adjustment shock. I will appear thoroughly thru this internet site, nonetheless it is so unique from my q and my palm 800 which have been each largely the same. At this time the only point I genuinely recognize is tips on how to access world-wide-web ( that is why I bought it ) Creating calls recieving messages is tougher, moving pictures to TP@ so I can use it being a viewer looks impossible. I can move them but i want them to become very easily observed around the device. Learning curve I hope is all.
